On
May 16th we had an awesome day on the water with
seas 1-2 feet and only a small sea twist.
First stop about 20 miles offshore we hooked up
with a 73lb Ling within 5 minutes of fishing --
pulled away from the oil and gas platform and
after 20 minutes Bradley had landed his biggest
fish ever. Moved further offshore and had great
luck with Red Snapper ( one 11 lb sow) and the
occasional Kingfish. We trolled and caught
several small kings and then boated a whopper 34
lber. No sign of tripletail or dorado yet.
Other boats brought in some big RedDrum.
Headed back to the dock at 2 pm and were in the
car with filets on ice at 4:30; Capt Paul
Bitner ran a great trip.
cheers and look forward to fishing together this
